Constitution

WLMO is governed by a constitution that ensures democratic participation, transparency, and accountability across all member nations.

Legal Status

Non-profit Association constituted under the Swiss Civil Code, with headquarters in Geneva. Politically neutral and independent.

General Assembly

The supreme governing authority of WLMO. Meets annually, with each member country holding 2 votes to ensure equal representation.

Presidential Term

The President serves a 3-year term and may be re-elected for a maximum total of 6 years in office.

Executive Committee

Members serve 2-year renewable terms on an entirely volunteer basis, managing day-to-day affairs between General Assembly meetings.

Headquarters

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, providing a politically neutral home for the organisation and its international activities.

Dissolution Clause

In the event of dissolution, all assets are transferred to a non-profit organisation with similar objectives, ensuring continuity of mission.
